Invisalign in Livingston, Texas

The desire to have a bright and straight smile is a very common want for our patients here at Today’s Dental. Many want to have perfectly straight teeth, but don’t want to go through the process of traditional braces to achieve it. Because of this, we offer Invisalign in our office for the patients that want an invisible way to straighten teeth.

How does it work?

Just like braces, Invisalign works to close unwanted gaps and straighten your teeth over a specific period. Invisalign has been able to let our patients achieve a straight smile without a mouth full of metal wires and brackets.

Once speaking with Dr. Lewis about your desired smile, he will determine a treatment plan with how to move your teeth and how long it will take. At the beginning of the Invisalign treatment, you will be given multiple sets of clear retainers that are responsible for moving your teeth.

These retainers are to be worn for about 22 hours of each day, only to be taken out while eating and brushing your teeth. Working with small clear brackets on some of your teeth, these retainers will slowly start to move your teeth. Once your teeth have moved with the designed set of retainers, you will switch to another set for the next movement stage.

Invisalign Benefits

Adults generally gravitate towards Invisalign because it allows them to get a straighter smile without a mouth full of metal.

Sometimes patients can be embarrassed with the thought of having braces, with Invisalign, that fear of being embarrassed goes away. Allows patients to get a straight smile while maintaining confidence.

Easy to use. Our dentist sets up your treatment plan and all you have to do is follow it!

Because Invisalign can be removed to eat, there are no limitations to what you can and can’t eat. It also makes cleaning your teeth easier than with braces.
